“The first time we were introduced to KinderGolf we were quite surprised with the professionalism of the staff and the programme that indicated lots of promise. That promise has not only been fulfilled but had shown potential as it has evolved to meet the demands of the players as well as the growth in the international realm. Over the years that my son Amir Afiq has been involved, the programme has evolved to meet the progress of his capabilities. In addition, with the forsight of Donna and her team to create a niche for Singaporeans in Golf Arena in preparation for the international filed.

My son started in the year 2003 and has shown great support by the staff at the former Suntec School. Under the tutelage of Shirley, Hui Ping and the rest of the staff at Suntec Amir Afiq has not only grown in his golf capabilities but also his self esteem and confidence. In the monthly medal competitions, Amir Afiq has won many trophies which had boosted his assurance in his capabilities. In addition the monthly medals have also created a stepping stone for what he is to expect in the golf tournaments.

KinderGolf has not only created an environment of competitiveness with the emphasis of winning medals in the monthly competitions, but also teaching the etiquettes of a golfer on the green, in class as well as a competitor. Taught at a young age, is the epitome of a successful golfer. I have seen the teaching tools used which has evolve from just verbal and the usage of the whiteboard to something more physical that the kids can visualize with the badges, the workbooks as well as the constant reminders of the etiquette during classroom teaching and in the green. The consistency throughout the teaching is very important with kids and KinderGolf has managed to be.

Confidence cannot be taught or fed. It can only be nurtured and flamed from kinder to a fire. I am pleased to see as a parent my child growing to be a confident and assured person. Thank you KinderGolf. Amir Afiq’s success is part of your nurturing process.”
