Orlando, Florida (October 10, 2006) – The Spirit of Golf Foundation is pleased to announce that, under the leadership of Donna Lee, founder and owner of KinderGolf in Singapore, a new international chapter of SGF is being formed. This new chapter will include all countries in SE Asia and their neighbors, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

“We are excited about the establishment of this international chapter. Ms. Lee is a most capable businesswoman whose company, Kindergolf, has been very successful in teaching thousands of young boys and girls the game of golf. She has the desire and ability to introduce junior golfers,
physical education teachers and people who love the game to our organization. The chapter headquarters will be located in Singapore and certification and training programs will be offered throughout the region,” said Bill Madonna, SGF Director of Instruction, Orlando, Florida.
“My relationship with Bill Madonna goes back many years and I have watched the Spirit of Golf Foundation grow into a very mature organization. Having seen the success of SGF, I am anxious to help Bill and the Spirit of Golf Foundation spread its values and benefits to the children,
parents and fellow golfers within our chapter boundaries. An added value of establishing this chapter fulfills a vision of mine to provide quality golf to those boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 12,” said Ms. Lee.

The Spirit of Golf Foundation, an Orlando, Florida-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 1996 to foster professional development among coaches and instructors who teach golf to young people. SGF was formed to create a niche specifically for secondary academic golf team coaches and physical education teachers or organizational counselors who wish to participate in a national professional coaching association and to benefit from its offerings. Educational conferences as well as local certification workshops are part of the offerings to SGF members.

KinderGolf is a unique preschooler golf instructional environment specially designed to groom the next generation of very good golfers. All KinderGolfers are taught solid golf fundamentals, proper golf etiquette, rules, respect for the game, and at the same time, important mental and life
skills like discipline, focus, confidence, integrity are nurtured as part of the learning. KinderGolf was founded in Singapore in 2000, has 9 locations and has introduced thousands of preschoolers to the game.
